Accommodation Information for Incoming Erasmus Participants

Izmir Bakırçay University assists incoming Erasmus students and staff members with accommodation arrangements during their mobility period in İzmir.

For Incoming Students:
Subject to availability, places may be reserved for Erasmus students in state dormitories in İzmir. These residences are operated by the national student accommodation system and provide affordable housing options close to the city centre and university facilities. Details regarding placement, costs, and room types will be shared with students after nomination and confirmation of enrolment. 

For Incoming Staff:
Incoming staff members may request to stay in the university guest house located on campus. Information on prices and reservation processes will be provided during the pre-arrival stage.

   

In Case of Full Capacity:
If state dormitories or the university guest house are full, our International Relations Office will support both students and staff in finding suitable private accommodation options in İzmir. This may include guidance on neighbourhoods, rental procedures, temporary stays, and local housing platforms.
