Staff Training Mobility
STAFF MOBILITY FOR TRAINING
General Information
Staff Mobility enables academic staff from higher education institutions or staff employed in enterprises to deliver lectures at a higher education institution abroad, or academic and administrative staff of higher education institutions to participate in a training course or job shadowing activity abroad (excluding conferences).
Staff mobility for teaching/training can last from 2 days to 2 months, excluding travel days. In the case of weekly or shorter stays, the training activity must last at least 2 full days.
Responsibilities of Participating Institutions
Institutions involved in the mobility project assume the following roles and responsibilities:
1.Sending Institution: Responsible for the selection of participants, dispatch procedures, grant payments, mobility preparation, monitoring, and recognition.
2.Receiving Institution: Responsible for accepting the participant and offering them a suitable education/training or observation program.
Eligibility Criteria for Staff Training Mobility
Staff training mobility enables any personnel employed by an ECHE-holding higher education institution in Türkiye to receive training in one of the programme countries. Within this scope, participants may receive various forms of training (e.g. job shadowing, study visits) that support the development of skills related to their current role. Conference participation is not eligible under this activity.
The training can be undertaken at either:
- a higher education institution (an ECHE is not required), or
- an enterprise, training center, research center, or other type of organization that meets the definition of an eligible enterprise.
An eligible enterprise refers to any public or private organization, regardless of size or legal status, operating in any sector of the economy, including those in the field of social economy. The training activity must be carried out full-time, and grant support is provided only for the days of full participation. An inter-institutional agreement between the sending university and the receiving institution is not compulsory.
