Information for Incoming Erasmus+ Staff – Teaching Mobility

We are pleased to welcome academic staff members who wish to carry out teaching activities at İzmir Bakırçay University through the Erasmus+ Staff Teaching Mobility programme.

This mobility allows lecturers and researchers from partner universities to deliver teaching sessions, share expertise with our academic community, and strengthen inter-institutional cooperation.

Visiting staff may:

• teach in undergraduate or postgraduate programmes,

• collaborate with our departments on research and curriculum development,

• participate in academic activities, conferences or seminars (if available),

• explore opportunities for future cooperation and exchange.

To participate, staff must:

• make sure there is an inter institutional agreement between their department and the relevant department at Izmir Bakircay University

• submit a Mobility Agreement for Teaching outlining planned lectures and timetable,

• receive approval from the relevant department at İzmir Bakırçay University,

• agree on mobility dates and organisational arrangements.

During their stay, visiting lecturers will receive support from our International Relations Office regarding documentation, practical arrangements and cultural information. Upon completion, participants will be provided with a Certificate of Attendance.

We look forward to hosting distinguished colleagues from our partner institutions and enhancing mutual academic exchange.

Information for Incoming Erasmus+ Staff – Training Mobility

Izmir Bakırçay University also welcomes administrative and academic staff members who wish to take part in the Erasmus+ Staff Training Mobility programme.

This activity enables staff to gain new competences, observe best practices, and engage in workshops, job-shadowing or administrative training within our departments and units.

Incoming staff may:

• work closely with our international office, administrative departments or research units,

• participate in training sessions and professional development activities,

• share institutional practices and learn from the host department’s experience,

• support future cooperation and knowledge exchange between institutions.

To take part, staff members must:

• submit a Mobility Agreement for Training detailing objectives and planned activities,

• coordinate dates and arrangements with the host unit,

• complete the required mobility documentation.

Participants will receive guidance and institutional support throughout their stay, and a Certificate of Attendance will be issued at the end of the training period.

We would be delighted to host Erasmus training participants and contribute to their professional development within an international academic environment.
